Description
It will be used to concentrate chilled raw milk from initial 14% TS to 48% TS.
Design
The evaporator and all product contact parts shall be made in SS 304 construction.
Feed balance tank of suitable capacity to receive milk from milk storage tank and also act as a facilitating recirculation and for CIP.
Pre-heater shall be provided to heat the milk up to 85°C.
Falling film evaporator calandria in shell and tube design. The tubes shall be ERW 1.25mm thickness and calandria shall be built as per the requirement to include top and bottom manifolds, distribution plates, inlet and outlet connections, CIP arrangements, ducting connection etc.
Vapour Separator: It shall be built in SS 304 construction having tangential entry with outlet vapour connection. The vapour separator shall be complete with mounting arrangement with necessary accessories.
Product pumps: The product pump as required for transfer from the first vapour separator to the second effect.
Thermo-Vapor Recompression: The vapor from the first effect vapour separator is recompressed in the TVR and reused for the second effect as the heating medium.
Condenser and vacuum arrangement shall be provided with necessary accessories from the second effect.
Finisher: The condensed milk from the second effect vapor separator shall be pumped using a screw pump into the finisher to achieve the desired TS content in the condensed milk. The finisher shall be equipped with the density meter.
Instrumentation and control panel will be provided to house equipment starters, push button stations and temperature and vacuum control loop. The entire system shall be skid mounted with pre terminated and pre wired connections.
Description
The hot Khoa coming out from Contherm SSHE at 90°C shall be transferred to the Khoa vacuum tray cooling machine where the Khoa will be continuously cooled to 25˚C.
The machine consists of screw conveyor/trays and is jacketed with chilled water.
The cooling chamber is a cylindrical horizontal and leg mounted vessel.
It is fitted with quick open able door.
There are 5 Racks inside the vessel to place trays.
The cooling chamber is fitted with temperature and vacuum indicators.
The cooling process is batch type and cooling of one batch shall take 15 minute while overall batch time shall not be more than 20 minute including loading and unloading time.

Water Ring Vacuum Pump: Vacuum pump shall be double stage with 5 HP motor (1440 RPM). Seal water inlet temperature shall be 32°C (Max).
