Description
The conveyor will be used to transport empty HDPE Crates from outlet of crate washer to pouch filling machines.
The function of Empty Highway Conveyor is to take up empty crates from crate washer, hold the crate on line & feed these crates to the maze of Satellite conveyors, only when the Satellite conveyor has the space for holding the crate.
The Highway empty crate conveyor is connected to the different machines kept in line.
The crates are controlled on the highway through a network of sensors & pneumatic stoppers/actuators/pushers.
The empty crates are stopped at the entry point of each Satellite conveyor through a pneumatic stopper & then with the sensing of available space on the Satellite conveyor, the empty crates are pushed on to the respective Satellite conveyors with the help of pneumatic pushers.
Crate indexer conveyor is placed bellow the Empty crate conveyor. It will lift up the empty crates and will index the pouches in a proper stacking manner.it will be linked with the discharge conveyor with PLC communication.
To and fro motion of the Crate indexer will be carried out by the servo drive for accurate movement and pneumatics will be used for up and down movement.
This entire operation is PLC based in a fully automatic manner. During Indexing specially designed ss frame is used to drop the pouches in the crates in exact position so as to achieve correct position of pouches and stacking of pouches.
Intermediate conveyor is in between of crate indexer and empty crate conveyor so there will be two crates in waiting for the crate indexer. Crate will be pulled from Intermediate conveyor to crate indexer for filling of pouches.

The function of Filled conveyor is to take up filled crates from all indexing conveyor & move them to the Cold Room. Alongside the Filled conveyor.
The movement of crates is controlled on this through sensors & pneumatic actuators/stoppers to avoid any interference or collision of crates while entering the highway from Satellite conveyors.

This belt conveyor is with timing belt and is adjustable at site for fine tuning. One end of this Belt Conveyor is the receiving conveyor & the other end is connected to the discharge conveyor placed in 90 Deg angle. This conveyor is located between empty and filled crate highway conveyors.
This conveyor receives the filled packs as soon as they are discharged from the machine chute. The conveyor senses the packs and aligns them. The conveyor runs by a servo motor. This Belt Conveyor is placed above the level of Filled crate conveyor. One end of Belt Conveyor is placed below the spout of filling station & the other end is connected to the indexing conveyor. This conveyor is equipped with pouch counter and it is displayed on the PLC.
